Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are original, unpublished, and that they hold the necessary rights to grant publication permissions.
Any use of third-party material—such as figures, tables, or images—must be properly credited, and authors must obtain written permissions for all copyrighted content.
The Preventive Care Journal bears no responsibility for copyright infringement committed by authors.
License Agreement
Upon acceptance, authors will be required to sign a publishing agreement that grants The Preventive Care Journal the right to publish the article under a Creative Commons License (CC BY-NC 4.0) or another suitable open-access license.
CC BY-NC 4.0:
This license permits others to copy, redistribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper credit is given to the original author and the source.
Open Access Policy
TPCJ adheres to a strict open-access policy, ensuring that all published content is freely accessible to readers worldwide without any subscription barriers. This policy promotes equitable access to healthcare knowledge and encourages wider academic collaboration and dissemination.
Self-Archiving and Repository Policy
Authors are encouraged to share their published articles in institutional repositories, research networks, or on personal websites, provided that the original publication in The Preventive Care Journal is properly acknowledged and cited.
Preprints and accepted (post-peer review) versions may also be archived with appropriate attribution.
Plagiarism and Misconduct
TPCJ uses advanced plagiarism detection software to ensure the originality of all submitted manuscripts.
Any instance of plagiarism, data fabrication, or copyright infringement will lead to immediate rejection (for submissions) or retraction (for published articles) in accordance with COPE guidelines.
Copyright Disputes
In the event of a copyright or authorship dispute, The Preventive Care Journal will initiate a fair and transparent investigation, engaging all concerned parties. The journal will follow appropriate legal and ethical procedures to ensure an impartial resolution.
