Copyright Policy
Copyright Ownership
Authors who publish with Global Engineering Insights (GEI) retain full copyright of their work. By submitting and publishing in the journal, authors grant GEI a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and display the article in all formats and media.
Author Responsibilities
Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original and that they possess the necessary rights to grant publication permission. Any third-party content (figures, tables, images, or data) must be properly cited, and required permissions must be obtained prior to submission. GEI is not responsible for copyright infringements committed by authors.
License Agreement
Upon acceptance, authors are required to sign a publishing agreement granting GEI the right to publish the article under a Creative Commons License (CC BY-NC 4.0 or other applicable license).
CC BY-NC 4.0 License:
This license permits others to copy, redistribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the work for non-commercial purposes, provided proper credit is given to the original author and source.
Open Access Policy
GEI follows a fully open-access model, ensuring that all published articles are freely accessible without subscription barriers. This supports global knowledge dissemination and broader academic engagement.
Self-Archiving & Repository Policy
Authors are encouraged to deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, research archives, or personal websites, provided that proper citation to the original publication in GEI is included. Preprints and accepted manuscripts may also be archived with appropriate acknowledgment.
Plagiarism & Misconduct
All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software to ensure originality. Manuscripts found to involve plagiarism, copyright infringement, or other forms of academic misconduct will be rejected or retracted in accordance with journal policies.
Copyright Disputes
In the event of a copyright dispute, GEI will follow appropriate legal and ethical procedures and work with concerned parties to resolve the matter fairly and transparently.
